There are foods you should include in your arthritis diet that will help with your pain. Foods high in vitamin C help the joint tissue to stay healthy and help them from decaying more. Foods that have a high content of vitamin C include oranges, lemons, grapefruit, strawberries, broccoli, cantaloupe and even papaya. Incorporating those foods in to each meal will help your joints stay healthy, but also improve your overall health.
Arthritis can’t be cured, but it can be a minimal pain in your life. When you follow a good diet and take over the counter pain medication, then you might be able to continue on with a regular lifestyle. There are also different types of knee exercises or exercise programs that will help you keep the joints moving and from getting stiff. Some of those include swimming, yoga and even golf when you limit how much walking you do.
